Size and Care Guide

Every piece of jewelry here is a unique and hand-forged from fine silver. Because our pieces are one-of-a-kind, we want to ensure you feel confident in your fit and know how to keep your silver shining for a lifetime.

1. Finding Your Perfect Fit

Since we cannot "swap" a unique piece for another size, we recommend taking a moment to confirm your measurements.

How to Measure at Home

1. The Existing Ring Method (Most Accurate): Find a ring that fits the intended finger perfectly. Measure the internal diameter (the span across the inside of the circle) in millimeters. Compare this to the "Inner Diameter" listed in our product descriptions.

2. The Paper Wrap: Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger. Mark where the ends meet. Measure the length against a ruler in millimeters to find your circumference.

3. Account for the Knuckle: Remember that the ring needs to be snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

Unsure about your size?

We are here to help! If you are between sizes or need more photos of a piece on a hand for scale, please contact us before purchasing. We can provide specific measurements to ensure a perfect match.

2. Caring for Fine Silver

Fine silver (99.9% pure) is softer and more lustrous than standard sterling silver. Its purity makes it beautiful, but it does require a gentle touch.

The "Last On, First Off" Rule

To protect the finish, your jewelry should be the last thing you put on in the morning (after lotions and perfumes) and the first thing you take off at night.

Preserving the Luster

. Avoid Chemicals: Remove your jewelry before swimming in chlorinated pools, using cleaning products, or soaking in hot springs.

. Storage is Key: When not in use, store your piece in a cool, dry place—ideally in the airtight pouch or box provided. This slows down the natural oxidation (tarnish) process.

. Activity: We recommend removing rings before heavy lifting, gardening, or intense exercise to prevent the silver from bending or scratching.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

. The Polishing Cloth: A gentle rub with a professional jewelry polishing cloth is usually all that’s needed to restore the "white" shine of fine silver.

. Mild Bath: If the piece becomes dull, clean it with warm water and a drop of mild, phosphate-free dish soap. Dry completely with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can unique rings be resized?
Because of the specific way our fine silver settings are constructed, our unique rings cannot be resized without altering the integrity of the design. Please check the product description carefully for the exact size.

Why does my silver look slightly different than the photo?
You are buying a handcrafted piece. Minor variations in texture and "character marks" from the forge are what make your piece truly yours.
